Charles Holmes's Profile

A native North Carolinian and longtime New Yorker, Charles Holmes joins Elegran after a highly successful career on Wall Street. After thirty years at Oppenheimer & Co. where he managed the Global Equities division with over 300 employees in the United States, London, Tel Aviv and Hong Kong, Charles worked at GenSpring, a multi-family office and division of SunTrust Private Wealth Management. Over his distinguished career, he has developed strong relationships with principals at private equity firms and hedge funds, as well as prominent trusts & estates attorneys, accountants and art advisors. 

Charles has lived in New York for over twenty-five years and raised two daughters on the Upper East
Side. He has also lived on the Upper West Side, Central Park South and now resides in Murray Hill. He enjoys exploring all the city's neighborhoods and keeps up-to-date information on all the neighborhoods in the city. Actively engaged in a number of philanthropic and non-profit organizations,
Charles is a trustee for the Hope Funds for Cancer Research in Newport, St. Bartholomew's Conservancy, which works to preserve one of the great sacred sites on Park Avenue, and Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C.
