A native New Yorker, John Dugan started his career in NYC real estate in 2015 and went on to found his first team, The Home Team, from the ground up. John has been involved in over $100 million in sales transactions and several million in rental transactions. He received multiple awards at his first firm, including Rookie of the Year in both rentals and sales, and was among the top three agents in the company. In 2020, John and his team joined Elegran. In 2021 alone, John and his team guided their clients through $40 million in sales and $500,000 in rentals, consistently ranking as one of the top-producing teams at Elegran. John was awarded the Moonshot Award in 2022 and the Elegran Top Performer Award in 2023, ranking number three in the entire company.

John's exceptional work ethic, loyalty, tenacity, leadership skills, and dedication to service were forged early on in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Combat Team Leader, where he served overseas in combat. Later, he worked as a Chef de Cuisine in some of Manhattan's finest Michelin-starred restaurants.

With a deep commitment to service and a fluent understanding of the luxury market, John has developed a diverse portfolio of business, assisting buyers, sellers, renters, and investors both internationally and domestically. Through his personalized and trusted approach, John has created an extensive network and works almost exclusively through referrals. 

After working side by side for nearly 10 years, John Dugan and Mick DiStasio have decided to join forces to deliver an unparalleled level of data-driven service, resulting in the creation of The Skyline Advisory Team.

John resides in Manhattan with his wife, Carmen, their two sons, Jaxson and Lennox, and their two Dachshunds, Ruby and Rocco.
